1. Why this page exists

Witnio sells evidence. A company that sells evidence cannot be loose with its own claims.

This page states the rules Witnio applies to every public statement it makes — on this site, in its documentation, in a proposal, in a report, and in an answer from its team — and what those statements do and do not mean.

If you find a published Witnio claim that breaks a rule on this page, write to [email protected] and it will be corrected or withdrawn.

2. Every claim carries its evidence state

Each public claim is recorded internally with the state of the evidence behind it. Only two states may be published as fact:

  • VERIFIED — reproducible with real hardware and real code.
  • PILOT — real internal evidence, published only with the pilot label attached.

A claim whose evidence comes only from a sandbox, a simulation or an estimate is never published as a fact. An estimate, where it appears at all, is labelled as an estimate.

A capability that is planned but not yet measured is described as planned or as coming later, is never presented as available, and is never purchasable.

3. How numbers are stated

A published number states what was measured, the date it was measured, and the method used. It is not a projection, a forecast, or an average of anything Witnio has not actually run.

Numbers shown in the product dashboards come from the service's own records. A number on a marketing page that is not read live from those records carries its measurement date.

Witnio does not publish an availability or uptime percentage and does not commit to a response or restoration time. A contractual service level exists only where the parties sign a separate written service level agreement.

4. Corridor and network honesty

Every result declares the corridor in which it was observed: the country in which the number is registered, the country in which the device is physically located, the carrier, and the connection path — for example a local SIM, roaming, or Wi-Fi calling.

Where a number is registered in one country and the device is physically in another, Witnio does not describe the result as a measurement of that country's mobile network, of a carrier's performance there, or of mobile latency there. That will be claimed only for corridors where Witnio operates hardware physically located in the country.

Coverage is stated as the corridors Witnio actually operates, never as a country list Witnio would like to have.

5. What an evidence record is, and is not

An evidence record is a factual observation: this device, in this corridor, at this time, observed this. It carries a hash of each artifact, a signed manifest and a verification reference, and it can be verified independently with the published public key.

It is not an expert opinion, an audit report, a legal conclusion, or proof of what a third party did. A message that was not observed shows that the device did not receive it — not who or what prevented it.

Witnio does not assert that a carrier blocked, filtered or labelled a message or call unless a specific observation demonstrates it.

6. Compliance wording

Witnio produces evidence that can support your internal controls, your own audit, and your conversations with a regulator or a counterparty.

Witnio does not claim that using it makes your company compliant with any specific regulatory framework, does not issue compliance certifications on your behalf, and does not replace legal advice or an independent audit. Any statement to the contrary, from any source, is not a Witnio claim.

Consent and cookie observations record what a banner did on a given run. They are not a legal assessment of whether that banner is lawful.

7. AI-assisted output

Where Witnio uses AI to summarise incidents, explain a trend, classify an anomaly or draft a report, the facts come from deterministic systems and the AI output is an inference.

Facts and inferences are labelled separately. AI never produces a metric: numbers come from the records, not from a model.

8. No fabricated proof

Witnio does not publish customer logos, customer names, customer counts, testimonials, case studies or partner claims until they are real and the customer has agreed in writing to be named.

Witnio does not publish an award, a membership or a rating it has not earned, and does not describe a pilot as a production deployment.

9. Forward-looking statements

Roadmap items, planned corridors and planned products describe an intention at the date stated. They are not a commitment, they are not part of any contract, and you should not buy on the expectation that they will ship.

A product becomes purchasable only when its internal gate confirms it. Until then the only action offered is a waitlist.
